2023 Spring Meeting
North Central Chapter

The North Central Chapter of the AAPM will be hosting a Spring Meeting on April 28, 2023 at the Corporate Offices of Health Partners in Bloomington, MN. We have an exciting program of speakers covering both imaging and therapy.

Are you or do you know a student/resident doing research in the medical physics field? We would love for you to share your work with us. Presenters will participate in our Early Career Investigator Competition and as always there will be a prize for the winner. The deadline to submit your name and title for the spring meeting is March 20.

RETURNING for 2023! MedPhys Slam!

The North Central Chapter will be sending a MedPhys Slam Chapter representative to participate in the annual meeting Med Phys Slam in Houston this July. The Med Phys Slam is a three-minute elevator pitch competition where students and trainees can practice communicating their research to a lay audience.

The NCC Chapter will be awarding the winner $100 and they will go on to represent our chapter and compete at the annual Med Phys Slam. Submissions will be done via a pre-recorded video uploaded to YouTube. Please visit https://www.aapm.org/students/MedPhysSlam.asp for presentation guidelines. The deadline to submit for the North Central Chapter Med Phys Slam Competition is April 14. The winner will be announced at our spring meeting on April 28.

Note: In order to participate in the Med Phys Slam in Houston, the individual must be a student, junior or resident member of AAPM or COMP.
